State Netball and Hockey Centre - Parkville (Kane)

As part of an upgrade to the twenty-year-old facility, Icon Tiling undertook the full scope of tiling works to the hydrotherapy pool in coordination with Commercial Aquatics, delivering a durable and high-performance finish suited to intensive aquatic use. This included assessment and preparation of existing substrates, application of compliant waterproofing systems, and the supply and installation of pool-grade tiles to the pool shell, steps, and associated wet areas. Tiles installed using adhesives suitable for continuous submersion and chemically treated environments, ensuring accurate alignment, consistent joint spacing, and appropriate falls to drainage points. All tiling completed with epoxy grout designed for aquatic conditions, along with the installation of movement joints and sealants to accommodate structural movement and maintain watertight integrity. Works carefully coordinated with Commercial Aquatics and other trades to ensure proper sequencing and integration with pool fittings and fixtures, and all activities carried out in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, resulting in a high-quality, safe, and long-lasting finish.
