Icon Tiling proudly delivered a premium tiling and stone package for Saint Haven, an exclusive luxury wellness and lifestyle destination in South Yarra, developed by Gurner Group in collaboration with Chroma. The project demanded an exceptional level of craftsmanship, precision and attention to detail to align with the sophisticated architectural vision and elevated wellness experience envisioned for the space.

The scope of works included extensive wall and floor tiling throughout the wellness spa, bathrooms, hydrotherapy and shared amenity areas, incorporating a refined combination of large-format porcelain, custom natural stone installations and intricate feature detailing. A major component of the project involved advanced waterproofing systems across all wet areas, completed in strict accordance with Australian Standards to ensure long-term performance, durability and protection within the high-moisture spa environment.

Icon Tiling also carried out detailed French lay tiling installations, carefully planned and executed to create a timeless and luxurious aesthetic throughout selected feature spaces. The irregular pattern layouts required meticulous set-out coordination, consistent spacing and precision cutting to achieve a balanced and seamless finish across expansive floor areas.

The natural stone component of the project demanded specialist craftsmanship, including bespoke stone works and precision book matching to create striking mirrored stone features throughout the wellness spaces. Each slab was carefully selected, mapped and installed to ensure continuity of veining and visual symmetry, delivering a refined architectural statement synonymous with high-end luxury developments.

Given the premium nature of the project, particular attention was placed on substrate preparation, movement joints, edge detailing and flawless transitions between materials. The use of large-format materials and custom stone elements required close coordination with site teams, designers and consultants to maintain alignment with the project’s design intent while ensuring practical installation outcomes.
