Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre
Icon Tiling delivered specialist waterproofing and tiling works for the Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre, working in collaboration with Commercial Aquatics on this large-scale community facility. The project required high-performance finishes tailored to demanding aquatic conditions, with a strong focus on durability, safety, and long-term performance.
The scope included detailed surface preparation, application of compliant waterproofing systems, and installation of tiling to pool surrounds and associated wet zones. Slip-resistant tiles and robust materials were selected to withstand constant moisture, chemical exposure, and heavy foot traffic, while maintaining a clean and cohesive finish.
Given the technical nature of aquatic environments, particular attention was paid to set-out accuracy, falls, and drainage to ensure effective water management and user safety. All works were completed in accordance with Australian standards and project specifications.
Through close coordination with Commercial Aquatics and other trades, Icon Tiling delivered the works efficiently and to program, achieving a high-quality, durable outcome that supports the functionality and longevity of the facility.
